455. RICK SPRINGFIELD (living). Bands assoc./w: solo w/band, Zoot, Rockhouse, MPD Ltd., Wickedy Wak; singer-songwriter, musician, actor, author. Real name: Richard Lewis Springthorpe. Religious beliefs: raised Church of England. Rejected some parts of the religion and studied Eastern religions. Presently says he is mostly Christian but meditates and desires a real relationship with God (which he says he achieved through meditation). He is still evolving spiritually.

He had a hit in September 1972 called "Speak to the Sky" about praying. So he is open to spirituality but needs to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
