So sad to hear Danny has died. He had a long long struggle with mental illness but gave us some genuinely amazing performances in his early days with Fleetwood Mac.
So sad to hear that Danny has just died. He has a very long struggle with mental illness since the 70's and hope now he can find peace. Not known by the masses but he has left some truly amazing work behind him with the original (and in my opinion, best) lineup of Fleetwood Mac.
The song Man of the World (Fleetwood Mac) kind of opitimizes Danny Kirwan. Maybe being a young musician and the work schedule was just too much to handle at the time for him. Peter Green & Danny Kirwan created some beautiful everlasting music.
