I ended up reading some about Selena Gomez in the past few days. I was aware of this except very vaguely until yesterday. Selena has shared her testimony or some thoughts on her faith with a church conference and also with vogue magazine. She has written a worship song and led worship at one of the churches of Hillsong she was attending at the time. She reportedly has had some live instagram or other social media thing in which she was praying, if I understand correctly, for fans.
The news also reports that Selena says that Jesus spoke with her briefly at some point, but I think that the conversation with Jesus was more recent and the other aspects of her walk with God have been over the past several years.
Selena has had lupus and I think she is over lupus but I do not know. In years past she was troubled with dep and anxiety and wondered if she would ever be without them, though that is a very strange thing to wonder if you are walking with God, I tend to believe. Perhaps Selena is over her dep and anxiety now, but that is not clear. I asked Becket Cook to consider interviewing Selena if he could get a hold of her. Perhaps Becket could find out if Selena is still afflicted with the dep and anxiety or if they are resolved by now.
I have at times watched and enjoyed some of her music but I think I must have usually forgotten or neglected to request prayer for Selena. I do not know why!
There were Selena and Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber attending a Hillsong church of a type of church with alleged shows. I think I had been figuring that all was somewhat well, or as well as reasonable given the church they have been attending, which I have avoided so far.
Selena gained weight while on med for lupus. I do not know if the weight gain has been resolved or improved, or to what degree I or you should notice! She is in the news saying that some had been critical of her at some points.
Yesterday while reviewing some clips and info re Selena I saw her in a dress or gown at some event and I figured she had become overweight a bit, but did not know why, or if I should include that factor in praying.
Selena was diag with lupus in 2014. Apparently it can kill you or may lead to requiring a kidney transplant.
Wow. The internet claims that lupus is a chronic disease with no known cure. If it is treated many live a normal lifespan, but it would be yukky to have lupus!
The news says that Selena has had a kidney transplant.
Jesus reportedly spoke to Selena in October 2019, meaning, in a personal message separate from usual scripture.
If you wish, pray that God bless and help Selena! Jesus touch Selena Gomez!
The message Selena says Jesus gave her includes that Jesus hurts with her (and presumably us), and it implies that the rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep is something that Jesus does, at least for other Christians or maybe for everybody.
The verses that one might think of after the alleged message of Jesus would be Romans 12:15 and I Cor 12:22-25.
