It may be that Shania follows Sant Mat as wiki claims or as it reported, but there are cloudy indications showing at least some Christian influence. Shania has also been cast in a Christian film as the mother of a singer, and there are one or more photos out on the web, apparently of Shania, wearing a cross, or wearing a cross while in her bra or lingerie!
The lyrics of several of her songs refer to God or prayer. Reportedly God bless the Child, a song by Twain was based on or inspired by a prayer she would pray.
Whether explicitly Christian or merely with some Christian influences, it should be noted that some of her music sounds like gospel music or music that could be used for gospel, at least to some people!
