I first saw Randy with First State Bank when I was 15 years old. He was an amazing musician who left a life long impression on me. I was so sorry to hear that he suffered from the debilitating disease ALS. He is remembered today and always.

I met Randy during his "Battle of the Bands" days in Tyler. We ended up in the same college class. Perhaps no one else will understand this, but I raise toast to Randy's life with peach brandy. I miss him terribly.

I am blessed to have known Randy and heard him play and sing many times. It was always a great blessing. I look forward to hearing him play in heaven.

Started doing a search for Randy after seeing his picture in a copy of Rock Scene July 1977. Talks about him and the band in the New Bands section. Was curious to find out about some of the acts. Sorry to hear about ALS condition.

When God made Randy ..he broke the mold.I honestly cant say that about another soul I have ever met or known in my entire life...and I am 48 yrs old now.Randy never met a stranger...he was kind and compassionate and treated everyone he met with kindness and respect..We were together about 4yrs and had plans for the future..But I suppose God wanted Randy in his rock n roll band,,," If you believe in forever then you know they gotta heck of a band...Randy is loved...he is missed..but I know we will all hear him play and sing when we gather in the Heavens to worship God...with Randy doing lead vocals and lead guitar....I love you Randy..always have...always will...

I am Penny's sister, Holly. Randy was a kind, friendly, warm soul. My sister loved him, & still loves him today. My sister has never met anyone, that could fill her heart, or his shoes... like Randy. I look so forward to seeing him again one day, & witnessing Penny meeting up w/ him...for the first time, in Heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing and staying with Randy at his house in Garland tx shortly before he was diagnosed with ALS. I met him years before playing at a Kilgore Tx bar balled The Falcon & The Crow.At that time it was Randy Nunnally and Raven.

My big brother, David Beck, was a very close friend of Randy. I was in awe of his cuteness as a kid and danced at the Street Festival to his band as a little kid. Ran into him years later as a hot young girl and introduced myself as David's younger sister. He was so shocked and so sweet. He was living in Garland at the time and he could still play a mean riff. That disease is cruel to a guitarist. I still lay flowers on his grave when I lay flowers on my family plot in Gladewater Cemetery. RIP Randy. Never forgotten.
